Peace Action Maine is part of a coalition that makes four demands:
1.Block the Funds. (STOP FUNDS)
2.Enforce the War Powers Resolution. (END IRAN WAR)
3.Investigate War Crimes.
4.Support a peace deal to end the war.

As you may have read, the Trump administration has already been preparing an imminent, post-election escalation of the war with Iran.
Congress reconvenes in just a few days on November 9th — write your members of Congress today — urge them to use every tool they have to stop this war and strip Iran war funding from any bill that reaches the floor. Then take a breath and celebrate.
Seven in ten Americans just told the Associated Press they want Congress to end this war. That number needs to become pressure — today, in every office on the Hill.
You may have seen the stories over recent weeks, running alongside the constant election coverage. Pentagon war plans have been briefed to members of Congress and partially leaked to the Wall Street Journal, CNN, and the New York Times. The planned strikes on civilian infrastructure — power plants, refineries, water systems — would constitute a war crime under international humanitarian law. The U.N. Secretary-General has warned that attacks on energy infrastructure in this conflict “might constitute a war crime.”
